The long history of MAMFREDAS EXPRESS LAUNDRIES industrial washing machines dates back to the early 1990s.
The founders of this business were Ioannis Mamfredas and his father Dionysios Mamfredas, who, anticipating the development of tourism and the growing interest of tourists for Zakynthos, conceived an impressive and innovative idea for that time, the creation of dock-to-closet linen management and laundry service.

We introduce the first tunnel washing machine on the island and further expand our equipment.
2008
We replace our equipment with modern, new generation machines.
2018
We expand our facilities to 1500sqm and modernize our equipment with third generation machinery such as a new tunnel washer, a new ironing line and a steam boiler.

Our Facilities
The modern facilities of Mamfredas Express Laundries are housed in the Planos area on the island of Zakynthos in a privately owned area of 1,500 square meters of which 2/4 are covered by the production area and the offices of the company, while the remaining part is occupied by the truck garages, the compressed air supply machinery, the boiler room, the machinery workshop and other auxiliary areas.
Appropriate soundproofing methods are applied in the building, in order not to affect the operation of neighbouring businesses, as well as thermal insulation of the steam piping network, in order to avoid losses of the temperature of the hot water supplied to the washing machines, ironing machines and dryers.
Our Staff
Our modern washing, drying, and ironing units are managed daily by our highly trained employees. Our staff consists of 50 or more workers during the high season, who are constantly trained in new techniques and comply with all health and safety standards.
We are proud of the harmonious internal functioning that results from the cooperation and mutual understanding between the management and the workforce.
Eco-Conscious
MAMFREDAS EXPRESS LAUNDRIES industrial washing machines use certified biodegradable detergent products from leading companies in their field, such as ECOLAB, to reinforce our ecological identity and protect the environment.
The use of accredited ecological chemicals is intertwined with our will to meet the high demands of our customers on the cleanliness and hygiene of their linen, but also to show the required respect for the natural environment.
The quantities of detergents during the washing process are dispensed at the appropriate times through modern, high-precision dispensers, while the overall performance of the detergent products is monitored and evaluated on a weekly basis by our specialized chemical partners.
The company is also licensed to operate a biological purification plant, taking care of the proper management of the liquid waste of the production process, while fully recyclable materials are used as much as possible.
